Enhancing Survey Data

Objective of project

This project aims to review the existing survey program to determine the level of duplication and possible consolidation of VET surveys across Australia.

Status of project

The Social Research Centre (SRC) was contracted to undertake a stock-take and analysis of VET surveys across Australia and make recommendations about the possibility of reducing the number of surveys and the burden on survey participants. The final report was completed in July 2011. The Data and Performance Measurement Principal Committee will consider the SRC’s recommendations and decide how to take this work forward at its meeting in September 2011.
