Australian Flexible Learning Framework

Designed to make vocational education and training (VET) in Australia more flexible, the Australian Flexible Learning Framework provides the VET sector with access to training resources (Toolboxes), support networks (the Community), professional development funding (LearnScope and Flexible Learning Leaders) and plenty of useful and relevant research information.

Group Training Australia

Group Training Australia is a national association of over 150 Group Training Organisations (GTOs) who collectively employ more than 40,000 apprentices and trainees and place them with host employers. More than 35,000 businesses are hiring apprentices and trainees through GTOs.

Reframing the future

Developing Australia's VET workforce to implement the national training system. Reframing the Future is a major initiative of the Australian and State and Territory Governments. Its aims are to assist in building the capacity of the Australian VET sector to facilitate the achievement of a national training system.

SkillsOnline

SkillsOnline is a storehouse of cost effective training, learning and assessment materials that support the delivery of a wide range of nationally recognised qualifications and competency standards. SkillsOnline is an initiative of Skilling NSW, within the NSW Department of Education & Training.

Skills Recognition

Skills recognition provides information about the Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) process and encourages people to have their existing skills formally recognised with a qualification. It will help potential RPL candidates to understand the basics and be well prepared when they engage with a RTO for a recognition assessment.
