This nationally applicable resource pack (DVD, Manual & Trainer’s Notes) provides industry-specific information and activities about a wide range of OH&S issues for roof tilers working in the residential sector.
The DVD shows actual worksites and details the most important aspects of OH&S which roof tilers need to be aware of. The main focus is on raising awareness about safe work practices and key points are summarised at the end of each section.
The Manual provides information and activities about a wide range of OH&S issues and includes photos from the DVD to reinforce the content plus sample assessment activities, models of relevant documents, checklists and a glossary.
The Trainer’s Notes contain competency mapping, ideas for assessment activities, suggested answers for key questions and ideas for working with adults with diverse literacy, language and learning needs.
The resource is designed for use by both WELL and other trainers, and will assist training of:
- workers /apprentices from both English speaking backgrounds and culturally & linguistically diverse backgrounds who have literacy/language needs
- employees/contractors in need of 'refresher' training in this important area.

Ideas That Work
This training package support material resource consists of a 19 minute DVD titled Doggers - Doing the Job and a CD containing customisable learners’ worksheets and trainer’s resource that support the DVD.
The target audience for the resource is doggers working in areas where cranes or lifting equipment are used, including building construction sites, transport depots, mining sites, shipping and civil construction sites.
The DVD gives an overview of working as a dogger and focuses on the development of the verbal and non-verbal communication skills that workers need to perform dogging operations.
The DVD has 7 chapters:

The resource can also be used as learning support material for people working towards their National Licence for High Risk Work CPCCLDG3001A Licence to perform dogging.
