Professional development

Registered training organisations (RTOs) are at the forefront of vocational education and training (VET) in Australia.  They translate the needs of industry into relevant, quality, client-focused training and assessment.

For VET practitioners to support and better respond to the diverse needs and competencies of business, individuals and communities, it is vital that RTOs are able to provide ongoing innovations in the delivery of training and assessment products.  Innovation continually revitalises the national training and equates to:

  • increased educational effectiveness
  • the provision of new client services
  • the development of individualised programs
  • broader access and equity.

  • staff development
  • strategic management and change management
  • policy engagement
  • networking and communities of practice
