How is a course accredited?

Courses will only be accredited for national recognition where no national Training Package qualification exists. The course must meet the standards outlined in the AQTF 2007 Standards for State and Territory Course Accrediting Bodies and the AQTF 2007 Standards for Accrediting Courses. Accreditation is approved by a state or territory course accrediting body.  An accredited course must be delivered by a registered training organisation for recognition under the Australian Qualifications Framework.
