Work Placement
This qualification requires 120 hours of direct support work in a disability or community service organisation. This organisation will need to meet disability specific requirements if in an aged care setting. Allocated study hours will vary depending on the participant’s prior experience in industry or general life experiences.
Upskilled will secure your work placement, ensuring we can provide an environment in which you can be successful in the course. During your placement, an Upskilled workplace assessor will visit you to observe you performing required assessment tasks.
