- This Cert IV in Dental Assisting is delivered online. You can study your online Certificate IV full-time, part-time, or at your own pace
Entry Requirements
- You must have completed a Certificate III in Dental Assisting or equivalent and be at least 18 years old
Assessment
- There is no work placement for this Cert IV dental assisting, however, some units require the practical demonstration of skills and knowledge in a simulated work environment
- A variety of options are available to complete practical assessments including through small group workshops (online) or private one-on-one assessments (in person or online) or submitting a video recording
Subjects
This qualification requires the completion of HLTAID011, Provide First Aid. Students are required to attain this through an appropriate training organisation and provide a Statement of Attainment to receive a Credit Transfer for this unit. In undertaking this unit, students will need to have the physical capacity to undertake CPR for at least two minutes kneeling on the floor.
