Course overview
Each unit of this diploma has been designed to give you insight into the types of activities that an accountant would be required to fulfil within the workplace.
You will be exposed to a careful integration of theory, knowledge and skills to ensure that you will gain the necessary experience and exposure to accounting practice to ensure a smooth transition into the workplace. Extensive hands-on experience in the use of Mind Your Own Business (MYOB) software, Perdisco online practise set and preparation of Business Activity Statements (BAS) are an integral part of the course.
You will also have the necessary academic foundations to continue to a relevant undergraduate higher education program at a university or private provider of higher education.
While there are numerous diplomas and bachelor of accounting degrees within the industry, Stott’s Diploma of Practical Accounting course is unique as it integrates all eight units within a practical accounting laboratory designed to simulate the work of accountants in the workplace.
