Course Overview
This unit specifies the skills and knowledge required to safely operate a personnel and materials hoist, that is, a cantilever or tower hoist or several winches configured to operate as a hoist intended to carry goods, materials or people.
Following the successful completion of this unit, individuals may be eligible to sit an assessment to obtain a high-risk work licence. Successfully completing the high-risk work licence assessment will allow an individual to apply for a high-risk work licence through the WHS authority in their jurisdiction (E.g.
