Before They Were Famous: Celebrities’ First Jobs

It’s hard to imagine them any other way, but these celebrities started at the very bottom before they went on to become huge stars.
Many had to slum it to get to where they are today. So, here’s a list of 9 celebs who had normal, and somewhat questionable jobs before they found fame:
1. Hugh Jackman

Before Hugh had his big break playing Wolverine in X-Men, he was actually a PE Teacher at Uppingham school.
He also worked as a party clown for kid’s parties.
2. Jennifer Aniston

Before Jen made it big playing loveable Rachel in the cult classic US TV show Friends, she worked as a Telemarketer for a whopping two weeks.
Also, true to her character, she worked as a waitress, as well as a bike messenger.

Hollywood heartthrob George Clooney worked as a door-to-door Insurance Salesman before his rise to fame.
Unfortunately, it didn’t work out too well – George has said that on his first day, the first person to who he sold an insurance policy actually died (yikes).
6. Nicole Kidman

Nicole dropped out of school when she was just 17, to work as a Massage Therapist after her mother was diagnosed with breast cancer.
She initially chose this to help with her mother’s muscle pains, but then found that she enjoyed it so much that she began to do it for others also.
7. Danny DeVito
