This is an entry-level qualification and is the first step in launching your career in the fitness industry.

You’ll learn:

  • Communication and business skills to work within the fitness industry

This course is suited for anyone looking to become a group fitness instructor or gym instructor and start a career in the fitness industry. No previous experience or qualifications are required.

Study online through our interactive learning portal. You’ll have your own learning profile, where you can complete all of your lessons and online theory assessment. Everything you need to know to complete your study will be within your online course, include resources and information on your practical assessment requirements. With our online study option, your course will be self-paced, so you can study when it suits you.

Entry requirements

  • This course is designed for people who don’t have any previous qualifications in fitness. As an entry-level qualification, there are no entry requirements for the Certificate III in Fitness.
  • In order to receive your Certificate III in Fitness, you will need to complete the unit HLTAID011 Provide First Aid and provide Onfit Training College a copy of your Statement of Attainment prior to completing your course.
