Types of Education Courses

Certificate:

An Education Certificate, like the Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care, is an introductory course that is nationally recognised. You’ll be exposed to all of the basics, and develop an understanding of what it takes to achieve success in the Early Childhood Education and Care sector.

Diploma:

By completing a Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care, you’ll go one step further than a Certificate and acquire more in-depth knowledge. This course will take longer to complete, but will increase your overall preparation for the workforce.

Undergraduate:

An undergraduate Education course like the Bachelor of Education (Primary) is more comprehensive than a Diploma or Certificate. You will explore topics in greater detail and will be completely ready and qualified to enter the workforce as a Primary School Teacher, once you graduate.

Postgraduate:

A postgraduate course in Education like the Master of Education or a Graduate Certificate in Tertiary Teaching will provide you with extensive knowledge in a specific area of this subject. By completing a postgraduate course, you will put yourself ahead of the rest, as the most common level of educational attainment is a Bachelor’s Degree. This will open up even more employment opportunities and potentially increase your earnings.

Is Education Right for You?

A good teacher is someone who can inspire and motivate their students to achieve their best. It goes without saying, that to be a great teacher you need to have more than just expertise in a particular subject area.

If you have excellent interpersonal, speaking, listening, instructing and critical thinking skills, an Education course may be perfect for you.

Graduate qualified to give children the best start in life

Here you will find leading TAFE, college and university teaching and teacher’s aide courses that will have you set for class with real-world skills.  You’ll learn to communicate and engage with children, and tailor learning for their unique needs and circumstances.

To fit your circumstances and needs, you can study and pass with flying colours from your nationally recognised education course online, via distance learning or in class.

Helping children get the best start in life – and guiding through their formative years – can give you amazing opportunities too. Kids and young people in every city, town and society need good teachers and teacher’s aides. These education courses open the door to careers that can take you right across Australia, or around the world.
