Duration study load

  • 2 online classes per week (6:00 pm – 9:00 pm) options to select either Mon/Wed or Tue/Thu
  • 4 Compulsory face to face Saturday practical site classes over the duration of the course. Site class duration is 4 hours
  • 44 weeks to complete the course plus
  • Up to 12 weeks of additional student support if required

Entry requirements

Age

  • 18 years or older.

English Language

Proof of meeting one of the following:

  • Passed VCE English or VCE ESL at year 12 level or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated sufficient LLN skills through pre-training review process.

Pre-Training Review

  • Evaluation includes assessment of:
  • Language, Literacy, and Numeracy skills.
  • Understanding of course structure.
  • Computer literacy.
  • Motivation for course enrolment.

Course Entry Requirements

  • 5+ years building and construction industry experience
