FAQs
What qualification do I need to work with animals?
Industry Leader Answer
The Qualification you need is going to depend on what you want to do! For example, if you want to go into Vet Nursing, you're going to need a Cert IV in Vet Nursing, which can take anywhere from 12-24 months.
However, if you're looking for your first job working with animals and aren't quite ready to commit the time and money needed to do a higher level qualification. A short course in Vet Assistance, Animal Care or even things like Wildlife Conservation will start you on your journey to a career working with animals, without the massive upfront commitment!
