FAQs
What jobs are in childcare?
Industry Leader Answer
There are always the standard long daycare jobs to consider, but if you really want to make strong connections with children and not be bogged down in paperwork there are a large array of other jobs to consider. Preschool environments, for example, allow you to build stronger relationships with children and parents as you have the same group every day. In-Home Early Learning also allows you to work in small groups in the comfort of a child’s own home. This means you can achieve more learning and positive outcomes for children as they are comfortable in their own environment, not to mention getting sick less with fewer germs around! Lecturing and delivering professional development is also a different option, as well as moving into a Lead Educator or Room Leader role as you gain more experience.
