Employers in Australia typically require any new Accounting or Bookkeeping staff to have a qualification in Bookkeeping, Xero or MYOB to do Bookkeeping work. In Australia, you have the option of becoming a Qualified Bookkeeper or Certified Bookkeeper. Bookkeeping is not the type of thing that can be learnt on the spot, it requires course training with a provider in order to learn the correct bookkeeping methods.
