Alcohol and Drugs Courses

A Certificate IV (CHC43215) in Alcohol and Other Drugs you the necessary knowledge foundation to make a real difference in people’s lives. This course contains several units of competency required to obtain certification. The core units and course codes are included below :

  • Provide interventions for people with alcohol and other drug issues (CHCAOD006)(CHCCCS014)
  • Develop and review individual alcohol and drug treatment plans (CHCAOD009)
  • Provide first aid (HLTAID003)
  • Assess the needs of clients with alcohol and other drug issues (CHCAOD004)
  • Work in an alcohol and other drugs content (CHCAOD001)
  • Assessing co-existing needs (CHCCCS004)
  • Working with diverse people (CHCDIV001)
  • Using communication to build relationships (CHCCOM002)

All recognition of prior learning (RPL) from other recognised training institutes (RTO) such as TAFE, is subject to approval before a credit transfer can be made.
