Entry Requirements
We have made our 10938NAT Diploma of Facilities Management course accessible to as many students as possible. Those wanting to start their career, those already on a journey to get there or those already in the role but need to ensure they need to keep up to date with the latest skills requirements.
Each unit of assessment includes case studies and scenarios which means if you are not already in a facilities management role you are able to study just as effectively as someone who is. And if you ARE already in the role, you can start applying the key learning outcomes right away.
To ensure you have the best experience we also recommend that you have:
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Previously completed Year 12 or a Certificate IV level qualification.
- Appropriate technology to study online
- The motivation to learn independently.

Professional Recognition
Nationally Recognised Training (NRT)
- 10938NAT Diploma of Facilities Management is an NRT Qualification recognised across Australia
- On successful completion of the 12 units of competency in this course, you will be issued with an Australian Qualification Framework (AQF5) Qualification and Record of Results
- Successful attainment of the Diploma of Facilities Management will allow for credit in AQF qualifications in accordance with relevant training package rules and recognition requirements
Facility Management Association Australia (FMA)
- Graduates of the Diploma of Facilities Management will be eligible for full general membership of FMA Australia
- Members of FMA Australia undertaking particular units may be eligible for CPD points
