Course overview

The Certificate IV in Mental Health is ideal for peoplewho want to support people affected by mental illness through recovery-oriented, person-centred approaches. Work involves implementing community-based programs and activities that promote mental healthand well being in a variety of settings, including non-government organisations, home outreach, residential services, rehabilitation programs, and clinical environments.At this level, you’ll work more independently under the broad guidance of other practitioners and professionals,using your skills to empower individuals on their recovery journey.

There are no academic entry requirements for this qualification. Students are required to provide their Unique Student Identifier (USI) which we can assist with, photo identification and meet the language, literacy and numeracy requirements.

This qualification is 100% fee-free for those who are eligible under the Jobs & Skills WA Program. FEE FREE is a Commonwealth and Western Australian Government initiative that aims to upskill Australians by providing fee-free training for select courses.
