Many Artisans find fulfilment working in trades, but a career in this cluster can take you to all kinds of places!
These careers could be your perfect fit:
1. Builder
Build new structures and upgrade old ones. Working on construction sites, you’ll unload materials, work with concrete and plaster, dig holes, install fixtures and more.

Work with wood as a skilled craftsperson, designing, cutting, and building structures, fixtures and furniture. Build and repair everything from bridges to kitchen cabinets.

Bring outside spaces to life by designing, building, maintaining and regenerating landscapes. Take care of the creative, business, and practical aspects of the job.

An ideal skill to get you an entry-level job in a warehouse, forklift operation is in-demand across all kinds of employers. You never know when you’ll need to drive one on the job.
Using tools
If you’re planning to enter a trade, tools will be your bread and butter. Focus on mastering each one until they’re second nature.
Carpentry
Clearly, this is a useful skill to have as a carpenter, but it will come in handy in many different trades, like building more generally, or if you need to use wood structures for landscaping.
