Recognition of prior learning

This program does not currently offer Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL). All students are required to complete both the Power BI Beginner and Power BI Intermediate courses as part of the 2 Course Program. Students with existing Power BI knowledge may find the Intermediate course a more suitable starting point — please contact Nexacu to discuss the best pathway for your experience level.

Professional Recognition

Upon successful completion of this program and passing the PL-300 exam, students will earn the PL-300 Data Analyst Associate credential — a globally recognised certification that validates expertise in Power BI data analysis and visualisation.

This certification is issued directly by Microsoft and is recognised by employers across Australia and internationally. Nexacu is an authorised Microsoft training provider.

Assessment

There is no formal assessment for the Power BI Beginner and Intermediate training courses. Student comprehension is assessed informally through hands-on exercises and participation during each course session.

For students progressing to the full PL-300 certification, the official exam details are:

  • Format: Multiple choice, case studies, and scenario-based questions

  • Administered by: Pearson VUE (online proctored or in-person test centre)

  • Duration: Approximately 100 minutes

  • Passing score: 700 out of 1000

All course materials are provided by Nexacu and included in the program price. Students will receive:
