Industri Education

Industri Education is forging a new path for young people who want to turn their passion for live music into a career through authentic and engaging higher education programs. We were started by music industry veterans – from venue and festival owners, to live sound engineers, from touring and merchandise operators to production managers.

We all wanted to provide a better way to bring up the next generation of the Australian live music scene, removing barriers to entry and formalising our decades of informal learning through a practical and rewarding educational program.

Industri Education delivers industry-led Associate Degree courses in partnership with the Australian Institute of Music. We exist to provide programs that lead to meaningful employment outcomes and set a new standard for the future of the live music industry.

Our approach to teaching uses current best practices and caters to how today’s students learn. We prioritise small cohorts, which enables us to understand our students, develop mentorship relationships, and help guide people to opportunities that suit their passion and abilities.
