Course Overview
This qualification reflects the role of counsellors, who work with clients on personal and psychological issues using established counselling modalities.
They use communication, micro-counselling and interviewing skills and draw on varied counselling therapies to assist clients. You will work in defined and supported counselling roles in established agencies. The industry is expected to grow up to 27,800 workers by 2026 equating to a future growth of 14.2%.

- This qualification has a maximum duration of 18 months, with the ability to complete in less than the allocated time
Entry Requirements
- There are no education entry requirements for this qualification. Student’s must be above the age of 17 to enrol and 18 years of age to complete work placement and complete this qualification. Students under the age of 18 will require a parent or guardians’ permission to enrol
