Take your time doing your research, there are many different roles and career options in the IT industry. There is always traditional IT support services and infrastructure systems architecture as well, the scope varies greatly and as one of the fastest-growing industries, it’s hard to go wrong.
Step Two: Learn the required skills through TAFE or Uni.
It’s hard nowadays to make a mark in IT without the proper training and qualifications. Getting qualified ensures you’re job-ready and can jump right in! You’re also better positioned for a higher paying position.
Step Three: Do an internship.
You need the experience to get experience, by interning you’re not only getting experience, but you’re also networking with potential future employers.
Step Four: Apply for positions.
