What is JobTrainer Northern Territory?
JobTrainer is a government funding scheme that offers low-cost training courses so Territorians can upskill or reskill in areas with strong employment growth.
JobTrainer was created to help people impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic, especially young people , school leavers and job seekers. After its first round, JobTrainer support became accessible to all Australians, regardless of age or employment status, for particular qualifications in fields with a significant need for skills.
Upon enrolment, course fees are paid directly to the training provider.
JobTrainer NT is run and funded jointly by the Australian and Northern Territory governments. The scheme runs across Australia, but each state and territory has its own set of eligibility standards.
