Work Placement
- Students must undertake a minimum of 120 logged working hours within an Approved Service which will allow you to complete a range of applicable work tasks
- If students are not currently working for a suitable facility, students are encouraged to locate their own work placement locations. Collaboration staff are able to assist you if you have any difficulties
Recognition of Prior Learning
- Collaboration Learning recognises that some students have had previous experience and learning whether that be working in the industry or completion of a previous course of study
- We are happy to discuss Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) with students. Each student requesting RPL will be interviewed and they should provide a portfolio of evidence to support their application and may be assessed on the job
- On-the-job assessments can be conducted to assess current skills and knowledge

- CHC43115 Certificate IV in Disability
- CHC43015 Certificate IV in Ageing Support
Subjects
To attain the CHC33021 Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing & Disability), 15 units must be successfully completed comprising of nine (9) core and six (6) elective units.
